I lead the teams behind product interfaces — the kind people live inside for eight hours a day.

About
A decade of JavaScript, most of it on one large SaaS product rather than a parade of short projects — and now the team that builds it.
Most of what I do well is invisible when it works. I keep the moving parts in order — priorities, handoffs, the decision someone needs by Thursday — so the team spends its time building instead of waiting. I notice the small things: the two-pixel misalignment, the edge case nobody tested, the review comment that's really a question about direction. And I put most of my energy into people: clear expectations, honest feedback, and room to grow into work they didn't think they were ready for. Away from a screen I'm usually outdoors, on foot or on a bike, or cooking something that takes longer than it should.

Productive
Engineering Manager
Here since 2018 — engineer, then team lead, managing since 2023. I work with the teams behind Project Management, Task Management, Docs, Time Tracking, Forms and Notetaker — five to eleven people, depending on the team. Alongside that I support the platform teams on the architectural and core problems that cut across all of them.

Frontend Engineer
Frontend engineer in an agency: a new client, stack and problem every few months. Broad exposure, fast, and a good way to learn what you don't want to build twice.
MSc & BSc in Computing, University of Zagreb.

Works out how to cut a furniture project from the fewest sheets of plywood, and prints the layout for the workshop. Rust compiled to WebAssembly — it runs entirely in your browser, offline, and sends nothing anywhere.
